Vacation!

Yeah, we're always on vacation.  In 7 months of work, 8 weeks of it is vacation.  Tough life.
For the first week I mostly just hung out and caught up on American TV because I don't have the funds right now for two weeks of vacation.  For the second week I decided to get out of my city and see some friends, so on Sunday afternoon I went up to Niort to crash with my friend Amy.


On Monday we decided to be lazy the first day and just kind of hang around Niort.

On Tuesday we went to this little medieval city called Parthenay that I particularly was interested in because it was on the pilgrimage route to San Santiago de Compostela, which we learned about in Art History class and that someday I’d like to hike or drive.  But I digress.  The town was incredibly cute and picturesque.
