The Toweled Crusader?

Sometimes the astute students will make connections between English words and words they already know.  For example, they already know spider (Spiderman), mouse (Mickey Mouse), office (Open Office), etc.

Here's the connection a CM2 tried to make this morning while learning the rooms of the house.  We learned the word "bathroom", and when she heard the word "bath" in English she cried out, "yeah!  Like Bathman!"

It's the Bath Signal!  Quick, to the Bath Cave to get the Bath Mobile!

  1. That is FA-BU-LOUS.

I taught my CP's the word "jump" and they all said "oh, like when we do something good and you say 'good jump!'" I actually say "good job."
