La Rochelle, we meet yet again

The weather here has finally gotten awesome - sunny, warm, fantastic.  We decided it was high time for a La Rochelle beach trip (or "bitch trip" as the French would pronounce it).

They were everywhere!  I had to keep rescuing them.

Before France, I would have thought laying out on the beach in jeans was absolutely ridiculous.  But everybody was doing it except for the few naked-ish people.

I went in the water a little bit.  It was absolutely freezing.

I love this. 

My future house?  It even has a fake cat on the roof!

La Rochelle is even better in the nice weather.  Even though after spending 5 hours on a beach you find sand in some really interesting places.  I could almost make a mini-beach in my bedroom now.
