I'm headed home today, so I will write a long post about my vacation tomorrow, with pictures, bien sûr!
For now, I'll share two things that have happened as a direct result of speaking French all week.
1. I had a dream in French! It was pretty damned good French too. How come I can't speak like that when I'm awake? I need to pull some kind of Inception-esque mind trick to make that happen.
2. I'm starting to forget words in English. I've also noticed my English grammar slowly deteriorating but this was the first time I actually straight up forgot a word in my native language, to the point where I actually had to go look it up in a French-English dictionary. Yikes!
Happy Halloween! (And...Happy Toussaint? Do people say Joyeux Toussaint? I tend to doubt it. We don't say "Happy All-Saints Day" in English either, so far as I know.)
*un bonbon ou un sort is what they say instead of "Trick-or-Treat" in France.
