1. I am living in France, which I have literally always wanted to do. I'm thankful that I get to speak French all the time and have adventures every day.
2. I'm thankful for the fact that I get to celebrate Thanksgiving twice, somehow, even though I'm in a country where it's not a holiday.
3. I'm thankful for the technology that makes living an ocean apart from your family and friends bearable.
4. I'm thankful that Lauren is coming to spend Christmas with me.
5. I'm thankful that against all odds, I managed to bring Daphne with me. It's nice to have her here.
6. I'm thankful for the family and friends that support me, as well as my coworkers back home who are taking care of Momo.
7. I'm thankful for my placement. It's a really cute city and I get a break from snow for awhile.
8. I'm thankful for all the cool people I've met here.
9. I'm thankful that I got such great placements in schools. The teachers are very welcoming and helpful, and the students for the most part are really sweet.
10. I'm thankful to the sweet old guy who decided to open a boulangerie right along my bus route. I'm twice as thankful on the days the pain au chocolat is still warm.
It's 1h05 so technically it's not Thanksgiving anymore - mais Joyeux Thanksgiving quand même!
