Winter Wonderland!

Woke up this morning to this:

Look closely and you can see the snowflakes!

I quickly checked the bus website and was rewarded with this:

Translation: "You do not have to go to work today."

I took Daphne out to play in the snow.  Even though neither of us are giant fans of the snow normally, it was fun today.  Snow is awesome when you get a snow day, and can go play in the snow then come back inside and sit by the heater drinking hot coffee.  In that set of super-specific circumstances,  I do enjoy snow.

She was super excited for about 10 minutes and hopped around like a bunny.  Then we both got too cold.

It's pretty.  I'll admit that much.

One night's worth of snowfall.

Apparently they haven't had snow like this since the 80's.  Maybe I brought it with me?  Either way, winter has arrived!
