It doesn't matter what is going on in your life - when you walk up to your school and the kids line up to high-five you over the top of the fence as you walk to the gate, while chanting your name, then mob you for a huge group hug that lasts 10 minutes while trying to give you a
bisous and saying things like "we love you!" "we missed you!" "you're so beautiful!" - it's impossible not to feel good.
I arrived in one of my classes early and sat in the back to wait. One of the super cute little girls ran back to me and said, "hey, Megan! I saw you on the bus one day," then she got super quiet and shy and continued, "but I didn't say hi." I don't know why I thought that was so adorable, but it was for some reason. Every time I see a kid outside of class they seem mystified and a little afraid, like you would if you saw a yeti or something. I made her promise to say hi to me next time.

| Look, over there! It's my English teacher! |
Another random experience I'd like to share. On the way home today I was on the bus with about 20-ish other people. Every single one of them had a black or very dark coat on. I had on a pink hoodie. I felt like some kind of bright pink American beacon.
